Mike is a lifelong resident of Allegan County. He was appointed Supervisor on December 11, 2024 after Ron Remington passed away.

Mike and his wife moved to Valley Township in 2013 and they reside in the Nethercut Pointe Subdivision. He retired from the automotive business in July of 2021 after 47 years.

Originally, he was appointed to the township board as Trustee when Harry Smith retired. He enjoys working around the house, as well as, the outdoors hunting, fishing, and camping.
