NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Valley Township
Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a
public hearing and regular meeting on, Monday
October 27, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at the
Valley Township Hall, 2054 M-40 Hwy, Allegan,
Michigan.
Please take further notice that the matters
to be considered at the public hearing include
the following:
1. Scott Van Wingerden has petitioned for
dimensional variances to construct a garage
and addition at 4144 Nantucket 0322-450-033-00.
1. Required fpront yard setback
30ft; request for 23'2"relief (to be
6'10" to property line) 2. Required
side setback
10ft; request for 4'4" relief (to be
5"8" to property line)
2. 2. Any other business that may come before
the commission

Authorities and Responsibilities:
Shall hear and decide questions that arise
in the administration of the zoning ordinance,
including the interpretation of the zoning maps.
Shall hear and decide appeals from and review
any order, requirement, decision, or determination
made by an administrative official or body charged
with enforcement of a zoning ordinance.
Shall hear and decide matters referred to it
by the zoning ordinance or that it is required
to pass under the zoning ordinance.
Decides variance requests.
Hears special land use and planned unit development
appeals only if provided for by zoning ordinance.
